Our Vision - Together with courage all students succeed
We recently engaged our whole school community to connect our beliefs about learning to what values they would like their child/children to exhibit when they left Caboolture East SS. From this feedback we developed our four core values —
Be Kind, Be Brave, Work Hard and Belong.
Our values are the foundation of everything we do at Caboolture East State School and underpins our school vision —
Together with courage all students succeed.
The community collaboration also explored the characteristics of heroes, which were child friendly and would become a school mantra. Our values are an integral thread of our school communication, celebrations and connection to positive behaviour.
Students created character illustrations for each value to reflect HERO strengths for example Kasey Be Kind has:
- Glasses – help her see the situation from someone else's point of view
- Kindness Wand – sends out positive thoughts and feelings to others
- Heart – glows when people are treating each other kindly
- Wings – allow her to fly to help others who need her support
Kasey Be Kind, Becky Be Brave, Wesley Work Hard and Bailey Belong represent each of our values and are our school superheroes!
